Research Funding and Resource Allocation in Pregnancy-Related Long-Term Cardiovascular Outcome Research Supplementary Data
Description
This file summarizes the results of the screening process. We retrieved 8,981 records from World Reporter and 2,839 records from NIH. After deduplication, 1,473 records from World Reporter and 951 records from NIH remained. Merging these datasets resulted in 2,420 unique records. Following title and abstract screening, 209 studies were deemed eligible. Of these, 23 studies were excluded due to missing funding information, leaving a final set of 186 studies with complete funding data for inclusion. Inclusion Criteria Studies assessing pregnancy in relation to immediate or long-term cardiovascular risks were included. Exclusion Criteria Studies were excluded if they: Focused solely on adverse pregnancy outcomes without evaluating cardiovascular implications. Investigated metabolic or neurological outcomes. Examined pregnancy outcomes without a cardiovascular context. Assessed maternal pregnancy complications in individuals with preexisting congenital or acquired heart disease. Involved non-human studies.
