Description

Ambient Dose Equivalent Rate (ADER) measurements were conducted in the protected areas of the Avala and Kosmaj mountains for radiological assessment. By integrating field-based Ambient Dose Equivalent Rate (ADER) measurements with GIS-based spatial interpolation and Remote Sensing vegetation diagnostics (NDVI), we determined that both protected areas are currently radiologically safe, but the detected downturn in vegetation condition warrants strengthened conservation attention.
