Description

This dataset is related to a study that investigated the effects of Post-Chikungunya virus chronic arthritis (PCCA) in middle-aged and older adults. The objective was to compare subjective pain scores, handgrip strength, balance, and temporospatial gait parameters between these two groups, both diagnosed with PCCA. The sample consisted of 77 participants, divided into two groups: middle-aged adults (n = 47) and older adults (n = 30). The assessments included handgrip strength tests, biomechanical gait parameters, balance measurements, and pain perception.
