Description

This is a balanced panel dataset including 278 Chinese prefecture-level cities from 2011 to 2023, with 3,614 city-year observations in total. The dataset focuses on the nexus between land-based fiscal incentives and urban technological upgrading, covering core variables such as industrial land price, local fiscal revenue, urban innovation level, and local government debt.
