Description

This study descriptively analyzes the production statistics of shellfish species by region in Malaysia from 2001 to 2023 through secondary data sources from the Malaysian Fisheries Department.

Steps to reproduce

The data is secondary data collected from the annual fisheries data of the Malaysian Department of Fisheries (DOF). The data used is within the range of 1990 to 2023, the latest year of data publication. The data selection is from shellfish production in aquaculture. The data is analyzed in the form of histogram charts to see production trends by region in Malaysia using the year intervals 2001, 2006, 2011, 2016, 2021, 2023.
