Description

The NASA dataset used in this study consists of 604750 sequential samples obtained during controlled charge–discharge cycles of a lithium-ion battery cell. Each sample includes information about the battery’s operating conditions such as voltage, current, temperature, and elapsed test time. From these measured values, additional attributes including Δt, Current Modified, Discharge (Ah). These features together provide a detailed picture of the battery’s behavior during cycling, where voltage and current reflect the instantaneous operating conditions, test time and Δt capture the temporal progression, and the Discharge (Ah) gives an indication of the total charge throughput. Collectively, these attributes form the foundation for accurate estimation of SOH and enable understanding of how the battery degrades over time. The total number of measurements considered is 604750 to prepare state of health data. The total number of cycles are 614 that includes both charging and discharging. For SoH estimation, we considered only 168 discharge cycles.
