Five-minute field measurements and feeder-aggregation model of a residential PV–battery prosumer, Capiz, Philippines (Nov 2024–Oct 2025)
Description
This dataset provides one year (1 November 2024 – 31 October 2025) of five-minute field measurements from an operating residential rooftop photovoltaic–battery system in Roxas City, Capiz, Philippines, together with the derived model inputs, analysis code, and results supporting the accompanying manuscript on the feeder-level network impact of PV–battery prosumers. The monitored system is a 5.4 kWp PV array with a 5 kW hybrid inverter and a 15.36 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, operated for self-consumption and connected to the Capiz Electric Cooperative network. The primary file contains 92,661 five-minute records (88.1% coverage) of PV production, household consumption, and grid exchange, measured by the inverter's cloud logger. Whole-home consumption is metered upstream of the grid tie, so it represents true household demand rather than net load. Daily global horizontal irradiance and air temperature from the NASA POWER reanalysis are included and merged with daily energy totals. Also provided are the quality-controlled five-minute production and load matrices used as model inputs, the equipment ratings and calibrated four-parameter battery-dispatch parameters, a documented Python implementation of the measurement-driven feeder-aggregation model, and the resulting feeder metrics (peak import, reverse power flow, reverse-flow duration, and ramp) as a function of PV-prosumer penetration for storage and no-storage cases. Running the provided code on the provided data reproduces the results reported in the manuscript. A full data dictionary, units, timezone (UTC+08:00), quality-control method, and reproduction instructions are given in the README. The dataset consists of the corresponding author's own household measurements, shared with consent; location is reported at municipality-level precision. Released under CC BY 4.0.
