Description

Livestock activity in Sonora, Mexico is fundamental for the social and economic development of the region; however, its members face various problems that could threaten their permanence. One of them is the figure of the intermediary, for which a quantitative and descriptive study of the corporate governance mechanisms is carried out in the city of Sonoyta, Sonora. The results indicate the lack of help, financial support, technical assistance, communication and solidarity on the part of the intermediary towards the producer, although it does provide a fair price for the products. Therefore, it is recommended to continue with new studies to better understand the object of study.
