A qualitative study: Menstrual attitude of mothers with pre-menarche daughters.

The aim of this study was to explore the attitudes of mothers with pre-menarche daughters towards menstruation. The present study utilised a qualitative research design to achieve its purpose. A qualitative research analyst utilised Atlas ti software for conducting thematic analysis on the verbatims collected from the discussions held in the six focus groups. The analysis of the obtained data demonstrated that the primary focus was on the perception of menstruation, which emerged as the main topic. Additionally, other subthemes were identified. The theme and subthemes illustrate the challenging circumstances faced by mothers of prepubescent girls. The research paper offered a comprehensive analysis of the situation, including the support system and the psychological and emotional state of the mothers as their daughters approached adolescence.
