The distribution of Rh phenotypes and haplotypes among the three ethnic population groups of Austro-Asiatic Khasi & Jaintia as well as the Tibeto-Burman Garos, who are the inhabitants and matrilineal tribes in the state of Meghalaya, India are examined in the context of comparative analysis within and among the ethnic group data sets namely, Khasi (n = 250), Jaintia (n = 250), Garo (n = 250) and mixed Urban (n = 250) sample taken from hospital Blood Bank data records was examined. The paper explores the phenotype gene frequency as well as the genetic polymorphism that was reported in this present study.
