Publication Performance Dataset of Private Higher Education Institutions in Central Java, Indonesia
Description
This dataset contains publication performance records of 287 private higher education institutions (PTS) under LLDIKTI Wilayah VI, Central Java, Indonesia, extracted from the SINTA (Science and Technology Index) portal in 2025. Data cover 2018–2024 across four bibliographic databases: Scopus, Web of Science (WoS), GARUDA (national repository), and Google Scholar. For each institution, annual document counts and citation frequencies are recorded per database, alongside cumulative overall totals. Supplementary variables include journal ownership by Sinta accreditation tier (S1–S6), book publications, intellectual property rights (IPR), and SINTA-verified author counts. The dataset comprises 287 rows and 83 columns. Total indexed output: 19,453 Scopus documents, 3,617 WoS documents, 141,338 GARUDA documents, and 499,013 Google Scholar documents. Note: GARUDA citation values for 2020–2024 are unreliable and should be treated as missing.
