Description

For the first time for the Republic of Buryatia the findings of the pyralid moths Ephestia kuehniella (Zeller, 1879), Ephestia elutella (Hübner, 1796), Cadra figuliella (Gregson, 1871), as well as the clearwing moths Conopia spheciformis (Denis & Schiffermüller 1775) and Tipulia tipuliformis (Clerck 1759) are presented. C. figulilella is reported for the first time for the fauna of the Asian part of Russia. Moths were attracted to glue-type traps with the synthetic sex pheromone of E. elutella, including the components (Z, E)-9,12-tetradecadienyl acetate and (Z, E)-9,12-tetradecadienol, as well as with the synthetic sex pheromone of T. tipuliformis, including the components (E, Z)-2,13-octadecadienyl acetate and (E, Z)-3,13-octadecadienyl acetate.
