Punching Out, Not Down: The Impact of Paid Sick Leave on Child Maltreatment

Description

This study uses publicly available data from the National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS), the Current Population Survey (CPS), the American Time Use Survey (ATUS), and publicly available county-level sources. NIBRS data for 2007–2019 are distributed by the National Archive of Criminal Justice Data at ICPSR. The raw source files are not redistributed in the replication package; researchers should obtain them directly from the respective data providers subject to their terms of use. The replication package provides all programs required to reproduce the reported results, together with a data inventory describing the source, coverage, access location, and required files for each dataset.
