Description

This dataset contains 8,294 dengue-related administrative surveillance records from Caldas, Colombia, covering the years 2015 to 2024. The records were obtained from the Instituto Nacional de Salud (INS) and originate from the SIVIGILA public-health surveillance system. The raw microdata were officially retrieved from the INS Sivigila Web 4.0 Search Portal (https://portalsivigila.ins.gov.co/Paginas/Buscador.aspx). The repository includes the original Spanish CSV, an English-US representation of the 46 source variables, three date-derived care-timing variables, and an R script that reproduces the cleaning steps, descriptive tables, and figures used in the associated Data article. No predictive or survival model is fitted in the repository script.
