The data consist of a spread sheet of which the first six sheets are UV absorption values showing the effect of temperature at an oxidant dose of 10 mM and 1 mM, inorganic salt, scavenger and quenching method on orange G degradation arising from the thermal activation of persulphate oxidant. The last two sheets are the total carbon measurement of the degraded orange G, humic acid, salicylic acid and caffeine solutions. The zip folder is a collection of raw chromatograms of degraded orange G solutions.
