In the quantitatively based research, self-administered online Google survey questions were employed as the measurement method. The survey URL was distributed via email, chat rooms, and WhatsApp to encourage voluntary participation using snowball sampling. Only 280 responses out of 322 empirical data collected were qualified and appropriate for the study regarding data filtering; the remaining respondents were disqualified due to their lack of user knowledge of social media and the Generation Y context. The data analysis was performed with SPSS version 25.
