The penetration of imported fashion products into the domestic market is increasing along with globalization and easy access to international trade. This phenomenon poses a serious challenge for the local fashion industry in maintaining its existence and competitiveness. This study aims to analyze the effect of imported fashion products on the competitiveness of the local fashion industry in Indonesia, both in terms of price, quality, and consumer preferences.

Steps to reproduce
The research method used is a quantitative approach with data collection through surveys of local fashion industry players and consumers, as well as secondary data from official institutions related to imports. The results of the study indicate that imported fashion products have a significant influence on the decline in demand for local products, especially in the middle to upper segments, which consider the brand and image of the product more.
