# Survey file The pdf file contains the informed consent form as well as the survey protocol. Value codings are indicated. Instructions in red demonstrate to the reader how we recoded items and values when necessary, and how subscale and scale summed scores are computed. Note that not all of the survey measures in this file were used in the present article, as this article was part of a larger research project. # Dataset file This file contains the missing-imputed items used in the article. First appears a non-meaningful, identification variable, followed by age and sex at birth. Next, the DASS-21 items appear (see the survey file in this Mendeley Repository to determine which DASS-21 items are the depression items we used). Next are the Threat-Related Reassurance Seeking Scale items. Then, the Ruminative Responses Scale items appear (see the survey file in this Mendeley Repository to determine which Ruminative Responses Scale items are the brooding vs. reflection items we used). Finally, the Bergen Social Media Addiction Scale items appear.
