Description

Figure 2 - Resume Comparisons of planktonic growth of Streptococcus spp. strains under a 10% CO₂ atmosphere. A) S. sanguinis strains, including 2 endocarditis isolates (Ss 8648, Ss 13197) and 1 oral reference strain (Sk36). B) S. gordonii strains, including 3 endocarditis isolates (Sg 12745, Sg 8774, Sg 5769) and 1 oral reference strain (Challis). C) S. salivarius strains, including 2 endocarditis isolates (Sv 13331, Sv 11312) and 1 oral reference strain (NCTC 8618). Values represent means from an independent experiment performed in triplicate; error bars indicate standard deviations. Symbols (*) denote statistically significant differences in absorbance values (A550nm) compared to the reference strain of each species at the same incubation time. Two-Way ANOVA with Dunnett's post-test, p <0.05.
