Description

This recipe book was the result of the research study titled "From Home Kitchen Treasure to Recipe Book: Capturing Tboli Culinary Heritage through Gastronomic Systems Methods." The study was conducted in partnership with Sultan Kudarat State University, the local government unit of Tboli (LGU-Tboli), the National Commission on Indigenous People (NCIP), and the Tboli tourism office. Consultation meetings and discussions were held with all the involved parties, including tribal leaders and NCIP officers. These meetings were conducted to clarify the academic purpose of the research and to obtain mutual agreement and respect for conducting the study. After receiving approval, the research intent was formalized through a resolution and certification, which were duly signed by the IPS (Indigenous Political Structure) Leaders in accordance with the by-laws of the NCIP for the welfare and protection of Indigenous peoples. Subsequently, the certification was endorsed by the NCIP.
