Steps to reproduce
To reproduce the statistical results, you will need to have R installed on your computer (https://www.r-project.org/). The required R packages are listed in the scripts, along with instructions for installing them (in the comments, indicated by the # symbol). When you are ready, load the qPCR data (from DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.17632/82brxttn5z.1#file-f5fcbc0a-b498-4c0b-833f-7acf2079c834) in the deposited .csv files using the R command read_csv() (included in the script, but you will have to specify where the files are stored in your computer—see the built-in R help for more details). Once the data is loaded, run the script. All results will be reproduced.
