Abstract Aim of the study: To know the tension neck syndrome in farmer which are working in the fields from many years in india. Purpose of the study: Tension neck syndrome is neck pain and stiffness with tenderness of the trapezius muscles farmers working continuously in the field for longer duration due to which it has been observed that there is tightness and neck pain among farmers Therefore this study is being conducted to evaluate the prevalence of tension neck syndrome among farmer in rural india. Method: survey was done door to door A cross sectional study.The study was done in male farmer between the age group of 30 to 50 years.It include demographic detail of every participant include name,age,gender and after this result will be analysis and data will be collected. Result: out of 72 participants ( median 42[3250]) and all parcipants are male farmers under the age group of 30 to 50 years which are working in the field(<10 years) we found that mild pain is 48% in farmers and moderate pain is 51% in farmers. CONCLUSION: This study prove that is prevalence of neck pain in farmer was depend on the duration of working in field. Farmers working in field for longer duration experience severe pain as compared to those working in field for short duration or for less hours.
