Leptocheliidae distribution data

Description

The data includes distribution information (coordinates) and depth of the family Leptocheliidae (Tanaidacea, Crustacea), supplemented with source information (online databases, literature, Google Maps, or previously unpublished data).

Steps to reproduce

Data were collected using multiple sources, including two popular online databases (OBIS and GBIF) and literature. If coordinates were not specified in the literature but a precise location was provided (e.g., city), coordinates were checked in Google Maps. Finally, the matrix was supplemented with previously unpublished data, specifically results from taxonomic work on tanaidacean material collected from Australian coral reefs.
