Bell’s palsy is a sudden onset condition characterized by weakness or paralysis of the facial muscles due to dysfunction of the facial nerve (cranial nerve VII). It commonly affects one side of the face and can lead to difficulties in facial expression, eye closure, speech, eating, and emotional communication. Various physiotherapy interventions are used to improve facial muscle function and promote nerve recovery, among which neuromuscular taping has gained increasing attention.
