Description

We hypothesized that Exophilin 5 (EXPH5) is important in maintaining skin homeostasis. We believe that EXPH5 has a crucial role in keratinocyte differentiation. To test this hypothesis, we made skin organotypics and disrupted the function of EXPH5 with pharmacological and genetic approaches. We then collected the tissue samples to quantify K10 positive keratinocytes to measure differentiation. The dataset indicates that disruption of EXPH5 impedes differentiation of keratinocytes.
