Description

This dataset is a compilation of image-based eye movement visualization that were created during the multiple attempts in which participants completed a Trail Making Test, while eye tracking was enabled. The data have been gathered from people with Parkinson's disease as well as Healthy Control subjects in a controlled laboratory environment and processed to produce visual representations of gaze behaviour. All of the files within the dataset are in the form of images and are organised into a fairly intuitive folder structure in order to make them easily navigable and reusable. Three kinds of gaze visualization are provided: fixation heatmaps, scanpath visualizations and grid of Areas of Interest (AOI) visualization. Each type of visualization is contained in its own top level folder. Within these folders, the data are organized by further dividing by task condition and there are separate subfolders for TMT_A, TMT_B, and TMT_C. For each task condition, there are groupings of visualizations separated by participant category through Parkinson's disease (PD) and Healthy Control (HC) folders. Each image in the dataset identifies the eye movement data of one participant for one task and visualization type. A regular file naming convention is followed so that the participant group and index are easily identified. In order to preserve the privacy of the participants, only visualization-level outputs are shared. No raw eye-tracking recordings relating to any participants or information that would allow the identification of these participants are included.
