This dataset contains survey data on disability awareness, perceptions, and attitudes toward the inclusion of people with disabilities among university students in Ecuador. It provides insights into students’ perspectives on disability, social inclusion, and inclusive practices within higher education.

Steps to reproduce

Define the target population as university students enrolled in higher education institutions in Ecuador. Administer the questionnaire designed to assess students’ awareness, perceptions, and attitudes toward people with disabilities and their inclusion. Collect participants’ sociodemographic information and responses to the survey items. Export the collected responses into a structured dataset and anonymize all records to protect participants’ privacy. Clean and code the data according to the variables and response categories described in the dataset documentation. Use the resulting dataset to conduct descriptive and inferential statistical analyses of disability awareness, attitudes, and inclusion among university students.
