Description

This dataset supports the paired flight-test and CFD assessment reported in the associated manuscript. It contains the raw onboard flight-controller logs (.mat) for five reference and five optimized hover and forward-flight runs, the Python post-processing scripts used to extract the reported kinematic, pitch, and hover metrics, and the processed CFD result tables underlying the figures. Raw CFD mesh and solution files are available from the corresponding author on request due to their size.

Steps to reproduce

Flight logs recorded on an ArduPilot controller, exported to .mat. Hover/forward CFD in ANSYS Fluent (SST k-omega); hover surface pressure inverted (Python) to drive structural topology synthesis in ANSYS Mechanical. Python scripts in Logs/DataCodes reproduce all metrics. See README.
