This replication package accompanies the manuscript "From Activism to Efficiency: Does ESG Shareholder Engagement Mitigate Credit Misallocation?". It enables independent researchers to fully reproduce every empirical result reported in the main text and appendix.

Steps to reproduce

Please read the ReadMe file to replicate the reults. All code is fully compatible with Stata 17 and newer versions. No additional user-written packages are required. To replicate the results, please follow these steps: (1) Set the working directory to the root folder of the replication package. (2) Open Stata 17 MP (or a later version). (3) Run the provided do files in Stata. (4) The scripts will automatically: (a) merge and generate the analytical dataset; (b) execute all regressions, robustness checks, and figure generation; and (c) save the resulting outputs.
