Reproducibility archive for: Three-moment-matched unimodal and bimodal initial distributions exhibit distinct finite-time dynamics in a nonlocal Lifshitz–Slyozov model
Description
This dataset contains the computational records supporting the manuscript “Three-moment-matched unimodal and bimodal initial distributions exhibit distinct finite-time dynamics in a nonlocal Lifshitz–Slyozov model.” It includes stored outputs for nine predefined computational cases and an additional upper-domain U0 sensitivity control, the public solver source, case configurations, complete per-step histories, terminal metrics, initial and final distributions, post-processing and verification scripts, regenerated figures and tables, recorded software-environment information, source-data mappings, and SHA-256 integrity manifests. The standard verification workflow recomputes the reported summaries from the archived outputs without rerunning the numerical solver. The archive is limited to the stated nonlocal model, initial distributions, numerical domains, grids, and time interval; it does not provide experimental validation.

Steps to reproduce
1. Download and extract the ZIP archive. 2. Install 64-bit Python 3.13. From PowerShell, open the extracted archive directory and create the recommended environment: py -3.13 -m venv .venv_reproduction .\.venv_reproduction\Scripts\python.exe -m pip install --upgrade pip .\.venv_reproduction\Scripts\python.exe -m pip install -r .\environment\requirements_minimal.txt 3. Run the standard verification workflow: .\.venv_reproduction\Scripts\python.exe .\analysis\reproduce_and_verify.py .\.venv_reproduction\Scripts\python.exe .\analysis\verify_manifest.py 4. Review the regenerated outputs in the reproduced directory and the summary file reproduced/verification_summary.json. The expected terminal result is: status: PASS byte_identical: 9/9 solver_executed: False The standard workflow verifies the archived file digests, recalculates the reported moments and summaries, regenerates the figures, tables, and machine-readable results, and compares the regenerated outputs with the reference files. It does not execute the numerical solver. An optional rerun of the additional upper-domain U0 control is documented separately in REPRODUCE.md and is not required for the standard verification.
