DATA OF IMPACT OF MERGER ON THE FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE OF SBI
Description
The present exploratory study is based on secondary data collected from the finncial reports of State Bank of India (SBI). The collected data was examined by applyimg ratio analysis using CAMEL framework. This ratio analayis was performed in pre and post merger period of SBI separately. The pre-merger period in the current study includes a period of 4 years (financial year 2013-14 to 2016-17) succedding year 2017 in which the associate banks were merged with SBI.While the post-merger is also of four years (financial year 2018-19 to 2021-22). The compaartive analysis of the financial peformance of SBI in Pre-Merger Period and Post-Merger Period, was performed with the help of Paired T Test on the ratios representing different indicators of the CAMEL model.
