Description

This research aims to explore the intricate connections between achievement goals as outlined in the 3x2 model and performance anxiety among musicians and athletes, with a special emphasis on gender variations. An online cross-sectional survey was administered to 210 individuals, aged 18 to 58 years (M = 24.88; SD = 8.77), comprising 48% men, with 51% being musicians and 49% athletes. The Achievement Goal Questionnaire for Sport (AGQ-S) and the Competitive State Anxiety Inventory-2 Revised (CSAI-2R) were employed to evaluate achievement goals and performance anxiety, respectively.
