Description

This dataset supports the study on green-growing concrete (GGC) modified with ceramsite and fly ash for slope ecological restoration. It includes mixture proportions and orthogonal experimental design parameters, mechanical test results (compressive/flexural strength), alkalinity/pH measurements, porosity and moisture-related properties, and plant growth performance data (survival rate, height, coverage) for candidate pioneer grass species under GGC substrate conditions. Supplementary figures and a data dictionary are also provided to explain sample codes, test conditions, units, and any missing/not-applicable values. The data were collected to evaluate the effects of ceramsite and fly ash

Steps to reproduce

Data were obtained from laboratory experiments at Guangzhou University. GGC specimens were fabricated per L9(3⁴) orthogonal design using cement, shale ceramsite, fly ash, and NaHCO₃. Compressive/flexural strength followed GB/T 50081-2019; porosity by vacuum saturation; pH by immersion (1:10 solid-to-liquid ratio, 24h) with a calibrated pH meter. Three grass species were grown on GGC blocks in a greenhouse for 60 days with weekly monitoring of survival, height, and coverage. Raw data were processed in Excel.
