Literature Register and Interpretation Guide for a Structured Review of SIoT Trust Intelligence

Description

This collection supports the manuscript “From Trust Computation to Trust Intelligence in Social IoT: A Structured Review of Knowledge-Defined and Digital Twin-Enabled Approaches.” It contains a reconciled literature register, author-maintained extraction notes, recorded search formulations, duplicate-resolution decisions, and interpretation guidance. The register preserves 247 original records. Six duplicate records are consolidated, leaving 241 unique records: 37 scope exclusions and 204 records retained for thematic mapping, comprising 136 priority records and 68 supporting records. Assessment depth varies across records. Eighteen retained records carry a combined full-text/extended-source assessment label; this does not establish how many complete full texts were read. The collection also documents an author-level clarification concerning abstract and introduction reading without upgrading individual assessment labels. This is a structured-review register, not a uniformly full-text-verified dataset or an exhaustive systematic search. Original study PDFs are not included. Users should consult Supplementary Methods S2 and the interpretation sheets before reusing the extraction notes. The internal reporting revision is v36, dated 11 September 2026.

Steps to reproduce

Open Supplementary_Data_S1.xlsx and read the README, Data_dictionary, Scope_and_limits, and Reading_clarification sheets together with Supplementary_Methods_S2.pdf. Use All_records to inspect the original register and Duplicate_decisions to follow duplicate-to-canonical links. Exclude duplicate rows to obtain the 241 unique records, then separate the 37 excluded and 204 retained records by disposition. Core_records and Assessed_records are overlapping subsets and must not be added together. CSV equivalents are provided. These steps reproduce the register counts and organization, not the original database searches, whose execution histories are incompletely documented.
