“Lactate thresholds and performance in young cross country skiers using ski rollers in laboratory test in in hypoxia and normoxia”.
Description
This data explores the lactate thresholds and the potential influence of altitude on performance in junior XC skiers. Using roller skis in laboratory treadmill, 9 XC skiers competing at national level, underwent laboratory testing in normoxic and hypoxic conditions. A Graded Exercise Test (GXT) was conducted, heart rate, slope and lactate were taken. External and internal load were calculated at lactate values of baseline plus increase of 1 mmol/L (Bsln+1), Onset of Blood Lactate of 4 mmol/L (OBLA4) and Dmax-modificated (Dmaxmod). The files are divided by variables of study, with external and internal load at differents theresholds calculated.

Steps to reproduce
Different data available is presented in different tables. Hear rate, slope and lactate values are estimated from laboratory test with data collected. To obtain this results Package LactateR of Rstudio was used using basic code. The pre-fix of HPX or NOR do reference to Hypoxic condition or Normoxic condition.
