Description

This dataset contains 191 screened pull-out test results compiled from 15 published studies on the long-term bond performance between fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) bars and seawater sea-sand concrete (SSC) under seawater immersion. The database includes FRP bar elastic modulus, SSC compressive strength, bond length, FRP bar diameter, concrete cover thickness, bond length-to-diameter ratio, concrete cover-to-diameter ratio, exposure duration, logarithmic exposure duration, and measured bond strength. The dataset was used to develop and evaluate a gene expression programming (GEP) model for predicting the long-term interfacial bond strength between FRP bars and SSC.

Steps to reproduce

The dataset was compiled from published pull-out tests reported in the cited source studies. The data were screened according to the specimen configuration, FRP bar surface condition, and failure-mode criteria described in the associated manuscript. Units were standardized, and derived variables including l/d, c/d, and log10(t*) were calculated consistently. For specimens with an original exposure duration of t = 0 h, t* = 1 h was used only for the logarithmic transformation, while the original t = 0 h values were retained in the database.
