Description

The data contained herein are the result of different field campaigns, whose first objective was to collect environmental noise measurements (microtremors) using broadband seismometers of the GURALP brand, model 6TD, within the Veracruz-Bocal del Río conurbation, in the state of Veracruz, Mexico. In addition, some of the dynamic characteristics of the soils could be modeled by means of one-dimensional surface stratigraphic models, such as: layer depth, P-wave velocity, S-wave velocity and density. The purpose of this was to build a soil model that could be used to convolve real earthquake records and to know the site effects of this zone. To adapt the signal, the various tools that the GEOPSY program has for this purpose were used. Likewise, its DINVER module was used to obtain the stratigraphic profiles sought. A good adjustment was taken as the one that best reproduced the location and amplification of the theoretical fundamental frequency of the soil being modeled.
