This dataset is particularly suitable for tidal energy potential assessment and deep learning-based tidal forecasting research. It contains six-hour interval tidal water level observations (Greenwich Mean Time, GMT) for the Buriganga–Pagla River, Bangladesh, for the year 2022. The dataset includes recorded tidal water levels along with the corresponding geographic coordinates of the observation location (latitude 23°39′ N and longitude 090°27′ E). In addition, lunar positional information is incorporated to represent the potential influence of moon phases and positions on tidal variations. The data are structured in time-series format to support hydrological analysis, tidal pattern assessment, and predictive modeling applications.
