Description

This dataset was collected using a standardised and researcher-developed tool: SESSTD (Self-Efficacy Scale for Science Teaching in Diverse Classrooms). This dataset is from 150 Pre-Service Teachers (PSTs) from the Regional Institute of Education (NCERT), Mysuru. This dataset is a part of the researcher's Master of Education Program mandatory Dissertation coursework.

Steps to reproduce

The dataset was collected as part of a study on pre-service science teachers' self-efficacy in teaching diverse classrooms. Data was gathered using the Self-Efficacy Scale for Science Teaching in Diverse Classrooms (SESSTD), a researcher-developed tool designed to measure self-efficacy across multiple dimensions. The survey was administered online to science pre-service teachers from Regional Institutes of Education, Mysuru (RIEM), ensuring a diverse sample. Participants responded to a five-point Likert scale, and their responses were recorded in a structured spreadsheet format. The dataset includes raw responses.
