Description

The data cover the period between 1 January 2020 and 17 September 2021. Time variant variables include total deaths per million population, total tests per million population, the share of tests that are positive, and the stringency index. Time-invariant variables include press freedom index (2020), the score of government cohesion (2019), domestic private health expenditure (% of current expenditure) (2017), domestic private health expenditure per capita, PPP (current international $) (2017), and GDP per capita (2010 US$) (2017), and Human Development index (2019).
