Schistosomiasis and intestinal helminth infections remain major neglected tropical diseases in Nigeria, particularly among school-aged children living in communities with intense freshwater exposure and poor sanitation. This study, therefore, investigates the demographic, behavioural, and clinical risk factors associated with schistosomiasis and co-infection with other intestinal helminthiases among school-aged children in southwest Nigeria.
