Description

This dataset contains the extracted study- and patient-level data used in the systematic review, "Dupilumab's Bidirectional Effects on Alopecia Areata: A Systematic Review." Data were extracted from 56 eligible studies (109 patients) identified through a systematic search of PubMed/MEDLINE, Embase, and Web of Science through May 15, 2026. Variables include study characteristics, patient demographics, indication for dupilumab, alopecia areata subtype and severity, treatment regimen, latency to hair loss or regrowth, Severity of Alopecia Tool (SALT) scores when available, concomitant therapies, dupilumab disposition, clinical outcomes, follow-up duration, and risk-of-bias assessments. These data were used to perform the descriptive analyses and narrative synthesis presented in the accompanying manuscript.
