Description

We performed an experimental study investigating the transport of Li and B between two melt reservoirs that were connected only via a fluid phase. With this we simulated fluid exsolution occurring during late-stage pegmatite formation investigating the effect of fluid exsolution on the elemental transport of Li and B, as well as isotopic effects during fluid–melt interaction. The files contain the compositional data of the glasses after the experiments were performed. Data was obtained by electron microprobe (D1), femtosecond laser ablation sector field ICP-MS (D2) and femtosecond laser ablation multi collector ICP-MS (D3). D4 contains trace element concentrations that were measured by femtosecond laser ablation sector field ICP-MS on synthetic fluid inclusions.
