Description

The data illustrates how responsibility is attributed after participants observe scenarios of intelligent machines' misbehavior. It identifies four states in which participants perceive manufacturers to be—malice, recklessness, ignorance with access to knowledge, and ignorance without access to knowledge—along with the level of responsibility they should bear.
