The datasets have been used in the research paper titled “Techno-economic modelling for energy cost minimisation of a university campus to support electric vehicle charging with photovoltaic capacity optimisation”. The datasets include a year-round travel dataset (daily travel distance and workplace arrival–departure times) of privately used EVs. The datasets also include: 1) raw data of vehicle usage sourced from the Victorian Integrated Survey of Travel & Activity (VISTA); 2) daily travel distance and workplace arrival–departure times for privately used vehicles; 3) probability distributions and cumulative distributions of the daily travel distance and workplace arrival–departure times.
