Instances for Multi-mode Prize-collecting Forest Problem

Description

This dataset contains the instances used in the article on the Multi-mode Prize-collecting Forest Problem. There are 15 instances per size from {200, 300, 400, 500, 600, 700} nodes, giving 90 instance files; together with the two fixed cost settings, these yield the 180 test instances used in the article. Both settings use a fixed local tree cost of 60,000, and each local tree nodal cost is reduced by 10,000 in the first setting and by 14,000 in the second. Local connection costs are equal to central connection costs, and no cost exists for the connection to a central source. For each size, the 15 instances are organized as follows. Instances 1–5 have 3 clusters, instances 6–10 have 4 clusters, and instances 11–15 have 5 clusters. Within each group, the five instances correspond to increasing values of the dispersion parameter from r1 to r5.
