A 2024 trial in U.S. middle schools deployed an AI adaptive math tool for 1,200 students in algebra classes. The system adjusted exercises in real-time, providing hints and scaffolding. Compared to traditional instruction, the adaptive group gained 0.58 Standard SD on post-tests, within the meta-analytic range
