Differences in the ratios of glutamate (Glx) and N-asetyl-aspartate (NAA) per creatine (Glx/Creatine and NAA/Creatine) were observed by Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy in the five brain regions of interest (nucleus accumbens, bilateral cerebellum, left medial prefrontal cortex, ventromedial prefrontal cortex, and bilateral precuneus) between the intervention (administered NAC + MET) and control groups (placebo +MET).
