Description

Python scripts to estimate Latent Class Choice Models (LCCMs) with equal and unequal interval grids. The model specification is based on the following paper: Vij, A., and Krueger, R. (2017). Random taste heterogeneity in discrete choice models: Flexible nonparametric finite mixture distributions. Under review with Transportation Research Part B: Methodological.

Steps to reproduce

The files provided will help the reader estimate LCCMs with equal and unequal interval grids. There are two iPython notebooks, one for each of the two model specifications. For readers who do not have iPython, we've also provided html scripts of the notebooks that can be opened with any web browser. Both notebooks contain extensive documentation, and the code should hopefully be self-explanatory. However, if the reader has any questions, feel free to contact the authors.
