Description

This repository contains the raw and processed experimental data supporting the study on Fe–MOF@SPS composites prepared by integrating an MIL-53(Fe)-type coordination phase with sulfonated peanut-shell solid (SPS). The composite series was synthesized using progressively increasing nominal elemental Fe inputs, designated as 0.3Fe–MOF@SPS, 0.5Fe–MOF@SPS, 1Fe–MOF@SPS, 2Fe–MOF@SPS, and 3Fe–MOF@SPS. The deposited datasets include material-characterization results, adsorption and visible-light-assisted treatment data, kinetic and equilibrium modeling outputs, operational-stability measurements, phytotoxicity observations, and real-wastewater treatment results. Characterization data comprise FTIR, XRD, and point-of-zero-charge measurements. Treatment-performance datasets include methylene blue (MB) and rhodamine B (RhB) removal in single- and binary-dye systems under four operational modes: dark adsorption (ADS), visible-light treatment without added H₂O₂ (PhC), H₂O₂-assisted visible-light treatment (PhC*), and sequential adsorption followed by H₂O₂-assisted visible-light treatment (ADS–PhC*). Additional datasets cover pH-dependent Fe leaching, removal performance over five consecutive ADS–PhC* cycles, and mung bean (Vigna radiata) seedling responses at different composite concentrations. Real chemical-laboratory wastewater data include chemical oxygen demand, dissolved oxygen, pH, total dissolved solids, total suspended solids, and total solids before and after ADS and ADS–PhC* treatment.
